Agnes Schmidt
Agnes Schwarzenbacher, AKA "Agnes Schmidt," "Rubber-Skinned Girl" or "Elephant Girl," had skin at the top of her legs that was over a foot long, so it stretched far off her body. She was born in Germany, but considered Milwaukee, Wisconsin her home. During the 1930s she performed with the sideshow Ripley's Believe It or Not. She had two brothers and two sisters, none of which had her condition, and she was married at least once.
