A poster for "Freaks"
Freaks was a 1932 drama/horror film directed by Tod Browning. When it was released, it was considered controvestral and shocking to film audiences of the time and was even banned in the United Kingdom for 30 years.
In the 1960s it was rediscovered and became a "cult classic".
The film was notable for featuring a cast which included many well known sideshow preformers of the period.
